Week One: Beach Volleyball<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mens: <\/strong>MAKING NB HISTORY! Finn McMorran and Connor Waugh battled hard on the St. John\u2019s sand, earning a <\/span>5th place finish \u2014 the best ever for NB men\u2019s beach volleyball!<\/b> Their determination and teamwork left a mark on the national stage and made NB proud.<\/span><\/p>\n

Womens: Talia Nixon and Sophy Soderman brought heart and determination, powering their way to an <\/span>8th place finish<\/b> at the Canada Game<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Week Two: Indoor Volleyball<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mens: <\/strong>The Men\u2019s team showed heart and hustle all week long to claim an impressive 5th place<\/strong> finish<\/strong> against the best!\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“What an amazing week \u2014 St. John\u2019s did not disappoint! From start to finish, the energy, passion, respect and integrity from our group was second to none.\u00a0 Compete was the goal, and compete we did.\u00a0 NB PROUD!” – Jamie Chiasson<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Womens:\u00a0<\/strong>The Women\u2019s team made noise at Canada Games as they fought their way to a strong 5th place finish<\/strong><\/span>!<\/p>\n

VNB Spotlight<\/h1>\n

Two Kaboom athletes, Charleigh and Cathrine, combined their love of learning with their love of the game for their school\u2019s annual Heritage Fair at Nelson Rural in Miramichi. Their project, focused on the history and growth of Volleyball New Brunswick, showcasing the impact the sport has had across the province.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe chose this project because we both take a huge part in the volleyball community, from club teams, school teams and even local clinics and camps. We also both love the game of volleyball and we both thought it was the perfect idea to learn new things about Volleyball New Brunswick,\u201d the students shared.<\/p>\n

Both athletes suit up for Nelson Rural School and Kaboom (Miramichi Volleyball Association), and their project is another example of the pride and passion they carry for the game\u2014on and off the court.<\/p>\n
