Vice President

VNB is happy to announce Francine Dallaire as our new Vice President. Francine brings many skills to the table, such as strategic organization and implementation, that will help us thrive as we continue to grow and move forward with our strategic plan. In terms of volleyball, she is the current president of Club de Volleyball Chaleur (CVC), where she has a strong focus on streamlining operations and advocating for athlete and club development. Francine is also an advocate for SafeSport principles, wanting to ensure that everyone feels safe and is eager to continue their love of the sport.

Francine shared “I’m honored to be elected as Vice President of Volleyball New Brunswick. Volleyball has been and continues to be an important part of my life, especially with my daughter playing. I’m excited to work with the VNB team to help grow and share the love of our sport and create opportunities across the province.”

We are so fortunate to operate under such strong leadership to continue to grow the sport across New Brunswick. Welcome to the VNB team Francine, we are so excited to see what’s to come!

Capital Funding

We are part way into our first-ever Capital Funding Campaign! All funds raised will go towards new equipment used during our 3 major tournaments; Senior Open, Age Class Provincials, and Jack Lawson Middle School Cup, which offer over 3,460 youth and adult volleyball players the chance to experience one of the biggest sports tournaments in Atlantic Canada!

Why is new equipment needed?

The Sport Courts and Net Systems used at the Moncton Coliseum are over 20 years old. They were purchased in the early 2000’s and have seen A LOT of use over the past 20 years. Over 4,500 sets of volleyball have been played on each court, and they are starting to wear down. To keep all major VNB events under one roof, new equipment is needed in order to keep the facility safe for everyone.

Volleyball is growing across the country and our province is no different! In order to accommodate the size, we need to look at expanding the number of courts we have access to.
