New Staff
We are so excited to welcome Suzanne Landers as our new Performance Lead and fourth full-time staff member!
Suzanne brings a wealth of technical knowledge and experience, from winning two National Championships with the University of Alberta as a player, to coaching across Canada at the youth, CCAA, and USports levels.
She is currently the assistant coach for the 2025 NB Women’s Indoor Canada Games team and has contributed to several VNB programs, including Team NB and PEP. Suzanne has also served as a board member with multiple sports organizations.
With her Master’s degree in Coaching, Suzanne is sure to help take our NB athletes to the next level.

Tryouts for Team NB were held over the weekend of May 31-June 1. Thanks to everyone who came out! Keep an eye on our social media and website – rosters will be announced shortly!
Regional Summer Camps
Join Volleyball NB’s Summer Camps happening across the Province! Led by both VNB staff and experienced university athletes, our camps are designed to help young players build skills, grow their confidence, and have fun in a supportive environment. Open to all athletes ages 10-14. Spots are limited—register today!

Congratulations to all of the NB teams who competed at Volleyball Canada Youth Nationals that took place at the Edmonton EXPO Centre from May 9-25, 2025.

Referees
Tournament 2 – we had 10 NB referees and 2 Referee Development Team.
Tournament 3 – we had 15 NB referees and 4 Referee Development Team, Carla Dickson did the 16U Girls Tier 1 Gold medal match as R1.
Tournament 4 – we had 6 NB referees and 2 Referee Development Team, Baylee Stockford took part in your Practical Clinic for her Level 4 certification.
