Call for Volunteers!

Volunteer registration is now open for the 2026 NORCECA Men’s Continental Championship in Moncton. This premier international event will bring top teams from across the continent to our province — and we’re looking for dedicated volunteers to help make it an unforgettable championship.

Please note that volunteer positions are limited and will be filled through an application process. All selected volunteers must be willing and able to become members of Volleyball New Brunswick.

Jack Lawson Cup

Registration for the 2026 Jack Lawson Cup is officially OPEN! Taking place May 15–17 at the Moncton Coliseum, this event brings together middle school teams from across the province for one of the biggest and most exciting weekends of the season. With divisions ranging from Tripleball to Division 1, there’s a place for every team to compete, grow, and have fun.

Register now for the Men’s Atlantic Open and Senior Women’s Provincials for your chance to compete for provincial titles — plus $1000 on the line for each division winner. With multiple divisions available in both events, this is shaping up to be a big weekend of senior competition in Fredericton!

Regional Tryouts

Regional Tryouts were a huge success this year, with an incredible 470 athletes participating across six locations around the Province! Thank you to all the athletes for their hard work and commitment, and to parents and families for the time and support you give along the way. We also want to extend a sincere thank you to our evaluators for their time and commitment to the program!

GenSafe: Championing Safe Sport

Sport NB is pleased to offer a free 1-hour virtual Safe Sport Education Session for athletes and youth participants of sport! Join Allison Forsyth, Founder of Generation Safe, Olympian, and Safe Sport expert and educator for an informative education session designed for youth (12+) and their parents or caregivers. This session explores peer-to-peer bullying, hazing, and cyberbullying, helps participants recognize the difference between abusive and assertive coaching, and provides practical guidance on setting boundaries and knowing what to do when something feels “off.” Grounded in Generation Safe’s evidence-based approach, this session equips youth and families with the knowledge and tools to speak up, stay safe, and foster positive, respectful sport cultures.

This education session will take place virtually on March 10th from 7:00-8:00pm (AST). The presentation will be delivered in English however simultaneous translation will also be available.
