Team NB Elite
(Formerly Eastern Elites / Summer Elite / Team NB)
Team NB Elite is Volleyball New Brunswick’s primary High-Performance program. Training and Competition happen in the summer every year, with multiple teams of male and female athletes training together, and competing against other Provincials Team Programs from Atlantic Canada.

VNB Provincials
Age Class Provincials, VNB’s largest tournament, wrapped up successfully on December 17, 2023!
152 Teams!
A record-breaking 152 teams competed across 9 divisions, from Tripleball to 18u, with lots of hardware handed out to the top teams.
Looking Ahead
Age Class Provincials 2024 will be even larger as VNB membership continues to grow.
Save the date – VNB’s ACP will take place on December 13-15, 2024
Canada Games 2025
The Canada Summer Games is the largest Canadian Sporting event and happens every 4 years, hosted by a different province each time. In 2025, St John’s, NL will host over 5,000 athletes and coaches for 2 weeks of competitive sporting events.
Team NB Indoor Volleyball
Open ID Camps
- Sunday, June 9th, 2024 – Fredericton
- Athletes must register to attend
- Both Male and Female
- Athletes must be born in 2007 or younger
Coaching Staff
Applications to coach the Canada Games NB Indoor Volleyball team will open on January 17th, 2024 and close January 31st, 2024.
Once the coaching rosters have been selected, VNB will share the coaching rosters through the site, and through social media.
Team NB Beach Volleyball
Provincial Excellence Program
In 2023, VNB Kicked off a totally new version of the Provincial Excellence Program [PEP].
VNB Evaluators, along with the VNB High-Performance Committee Chairs, observed and evaluated over 400 male and female athletes throughout the VNB club, NBIAA, and Team NB Elite seasons.
In total, 30 Female and 30 Male athletes were selected to join the first cohort for PEP 2023-24.
