Male HP Coach Adam Spragg shares “The Men’s High Performance beach program had a successful summer with many good results and positive development within the group. The VNB provincials saw 3 of our groups with a top 5 finish providing good momentum heading into the VC National Championship. The boys embraced the challenge of being entered into the Senior Men’s category playing against current national team members and FIVB participants. Each of our 3 groups proved they belonged on the court and put up a good fight. Ultimately they ended up with two T17 and one T9 finish.”
Similarily, Lauren Hale-Miller, the Female HP Beach Coach shared “The VNB Female HP Beach program had a strong showing at Nationals, with several standout performances. Maya Lanteigne and Morgan Coy captured 17U Tier 3 gold. In the 18U division, a thrilling Tier 2 quarterfinal saw two New Brunswick teams face off, with Sophy Soderman and Sarah Mason emerging victorious in the third set against Gaby Sauvé and Marie Boulerice. Sophy and Sarah eventually lost in a close semifinal. Additionally, in Senior Women’s action, Talia Nixon and Madeline Mills ended the tournament on a high note with a big win in the consolation bracket. These results are a testament to the success of the VNB HP program”
Congratulations to all of the NB athletes who participated, and a huge thank you to the parents and to the Team NB teams who supported their fellow teams playing. It was a great weekend and we can’t wait for next summer!

Capital Funding
We are part way into our first-ever Capital Funding Campaign! All funds raised will go towards new equipment used during our 3 major tournaments; Senior Open, Age Class Provincials, and Jack Lawson Middle School Cup, which offer over 3,460 youth and adult volleyball players the chance to experience one of the biggest sports tournaments in Atlantic Canada!
Why is new equipment needed?
The Sport Courts and Net Systems used at the Moncton Coliseum are over 20 years old. They were purchased in the early 2000’s and have seen A LOT of use over the past 20 years. Over 4,500 sets of volleyball have been played on each court, and they are starting to wear down. To keep all major VNB events under one roof, new equipment is needed in order to keep the facility safe for everyone.
Volleyball is growing across the country and our province is no different! In order to accommodate the size, we need to look at expanding the number of courts we have access to.
